This is the finalized version of this project.  Viva los Gauchos de Argentina!

This is as yet an unfinished project I'm working on in Adobe Illustrator.  Hilariously though I turned it in for critique unfinished like this and people seemed to like it so I thought I'd post it unfinished.  I am still going to finish it but it's nice to see that there are acceptable possibilities other than completely fleshed out work.  Will post when complete.  Click to expand to the entire image.

Scratch board Dracula project.  It's a pretty stereotypical Dracula image.  Not so sure how I feel about pushing the helpless female angle of things but it does feel vintage in a way, so I like that.  Ahh the hypocrisy of my varied tastes.

Shadow box of the famous Author Edith Wharton in Old New york.  What a fun project this was, and very time consuming.  I liked this way of working though and may try to do more shadow boxes in the future.

A design for the Mrs. Dalloway book cover developed from a sketch I did.  A fun and challenging project.  Everything done in Adobe Illustrator using vectors.

A piece I completed in Illustrator that developed from a sketch I did of a photograph.  Love the flat color you can get with that program.  Would love to own that dress too.

Pencil on very smooth paper.

JWoww & Snooki Enthroned.  It seemed logical to me since Snooki is so small and they're such good friends.

A book cover design I did from drawings a sketches done in a figure drawing class.

This is a preliminary pencil sketch of an illustration I will start painting soon.  It's supposed to illustrate a scene in a fairy tale.  The fairy tale is called Diamonds and Toads.  It's one of the lesser known tales.  In the story a beautiful girl is kind to an old woman so the woman gives her a gift: every time she speaks from that day forward out of her mouth will come either jewels or flowers.  I've tried to portray that moment right after receiving the gift from the old hag.

Line sketch of an Aubrey Beardsley inspired project.  Soon I'll be inking everything and eventually it will be a black and white piece.  This is the skeleton of it.  I'll post it again once it's finished.

A piece I did for a short story called dominion.  The story was basically a new twist on a creation myth.  Adam and Eve in Eden with the serpent and two kittens.

This guy did a 3 hour pose.  I drew him for 2.

Ok, so this one is from the FIT Drawathon which was also very fun I might add.

Drawathon Ballerina!

She held this pose for about an hour I think.  I ran out of blue part way through.

This was one of the models doing the 7 hour long pose at the Drawathon.  I didn't spend 7 hours on this but it was a nice set up.  She had another model posing with her too but I didn't draw him.

2 figures from the Pratt Drawathon

A compilation of a few fashion poses done at the Drawathon.

A Poster I designed for a body image awareness campaign at my school.  $300 if I win.  Here's hoping.  I used my own photography reference for some of the figures, so some of my pals will probably find themselves in here somewhere.  Pencil, pen, ink and gouache.

A dream.  Lots of different media used here: watercolor, acrylic, gouache, ink, stamps, and spray paint

Finished this piece last week.  Acrylic on illustration board.  I think one of the more successful acrylic paintings I've done thus far.

Written on the back of the above image:  The title I gave it and an excerpt of a Mary Oliver poem I like that I thought could kind of go with the image.
