Cityscape

I recreated this cityscape in illustrator from a photo. It was challenging, but I like the way it turned out.

Pattern

This is the very first finished piece I created using Adobe Illustrator.  It's just a pattern but it was challenging to make it accurate all the way through, and I think I created something interesting and pretty to look at.

Stamp

This is a stamp design I did in Illustrator.  I chose Argentina because I've been to that country and have a definite soft spot for it.  The reference for this image was taken from a photograph I took at a Gaucho festival while I was there.  All these cowboys paraded down the streets of this small town, San Antonio de Areco, showing off their horsemanship.

Scratch Board

This is the result of the first illustration project of the semester, and also my first time using the clay board medium.  The project is supposed to be an illustration for a holiday card and a small spot illustration for the inside of the card.  Thus we have here a Halloween card and a little pumpkin spot.  I feel pretty good about the results.  I was pleasantly surprised at the speed with which I created the finish.  Really coming up with the sketch was the most difficult part of the process.  I'm sure I'll be doing more scratch board in the future.
