A series of 3 planned Lino cuts involving figures and design elements finished.  I'm pretty happy with the results.  This is a medium I so enjoy because of how physical the process is.  It really feels like hard work.

A couple lino cut pieces I was able to pull off over a couple of days.  I might do some more and make a real series out of it.  Figures with design elements.  I tried a few different color combinations.

The Drawing was done for a class exercise in transformation, turning something into something else.  I liked the drawing so I decided to translate it onto a linoleum plate and print it.  I'm really happy with the outcome.  Definitely going to do more linocut in the future.

Two Lino prints that I did today.  First one is my favorite bird, the Great Blue Heron.  The second is from a drawing I did in my sketch book last year, now converted to print!  Exciting!  I haven't done any linoleum printing since I was in High school so this is a nice shift.
